David and Jennifer Hansen
Jennifer is a STOTT PILATES certified pilates instructor in mat, reformer (essentials and advanced), cadillac, chair and barrels with additional training for injuries and special populations. She is a trained Total Barre instructor and is always continuing to further her education and grow as a pilates practitioner. Jennifer loves to come along side her clients to encourage, inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be whether they are beginners or seasoned athletes.
Jennifer was born and raised in The Bronx, New York and then migrated west to Los Angeles in 1981. She has a 30 year background as a professional dancer (trained in ballet, modern, lyrical jazz), artistic director and choreographer. She has performed and taught dance in England, France and Germany. Her love for dance and teaching motivated her to develop an after school dance enrichment program called Dancing Feet Productions. This program was designed for children and teens in the private and public after-school educational systems throughout Los Angeles. Dancing Feet Productions operated successfully for 12 years until Jennifer relocated from Los Angeles to the Pacific Northwest (to start her new life and marry her beloved:)
New Life Pilates is conveniently located off the 518 and 509 freeways in Burien, Washington. There is plenty of free parking.
